The Alpine Community Recovery Committee (ACRC) that was formed after the 2020 fires. One of the findings was people in Alpine Shire and the Alpine Resorts of Falls Creek and Mount Hotham complained they did not have enough information to cope well, with the fires in 2020.

This information they were missing, is available but scattered across many websites and scattered within many websites. The ACRC now has developed a curated newsletter which is published every 2 weeks.  The aim is that this newsletter, called The Loop, will be a one pager with information that could interest our residents and enable them to be better prepared to face an emergency and to build resilience.
